Mission and Vision of the Dutch Society for Immunology
Members of the board
The list below presents an overview in which year the lecture was held, and the title of the lecture.
Starting 2017, the Dutch Society of Immunology will introduce the “DSI honorary member”. Qualifying members have made an extraordinary contribution to the field of Immunology in the Netherlands in the broadest sense.
The task of the NVVI Lunteren Symposium Committee is the organization of the annual symposium in Lunteren and courses, symposia and conferences in general about subjects which may be relevant either to all members or a certain category of the members or to outsiders interested in immunology.
The programme committee’s task is to draw up the programme for the annual conference. The programme committee will select plenary speakers, including at least one speaker with a subject clearly related to medical or clinical immunology. The programme committee will select the subjects for the parallel sessions and find the chairs for them. Both the programme committee and the chairs will have the task of assessing the abstracts submitted and selecting them for oral or poster presentation. In deciding on subjects for the sessions the committee must strive to attain a balanced programme which is representative of immunological research in the Netherlands. The General Board will select the candidate for the Van Loghem lecture.
The committee started on April 26, 2016, with their first meeting.
The Dutch Society for Immunology aims to increase the visibility of excellent young immunologists in the Netherlands and has for this reason initiated an annual competition to select the best thesis in immunology.
